Are these silicone or polymer clay beads?

All beads in this collection are made from silicone — not polymer clay. Silicone beads are flexible, lightweight, and have a smooth matte or satin finish, while polymer clay is rigid and often has a matte or painted surface. If you need polymer clay beads, please check our other collections.

Are silicone focal beads compatible with polymer clay projects?

Silicone and polymer clay can be used together in the same beadable accessory (for example, on a pen or keychain) as separate components — they do not need to bond to each other. However, silicone beads should not be baked alongside raw polymer clay, as oven temperatures can damage the silicone. 

Can I embed these beads in resin?

Silicone and resin do not bond well — resin does not adhere to silicone surfaces, so beads embedded in a resin pour may shift or pull out once cured. For resin projects, silicone beads work best as surface accents or add-ons rather than fully embedded elements.

How do I clean and care for silicone beads?
